British Holiday Destinations

Hello and welcome to Neil's British Holiday Destinations.
I will be having a look into some of our favourite British Destinations, i will also be looking at places that I've never been to. If you have a favourite place then why not drop me a line and maybe we could do a feature on it?. England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales and all of the associated islands which make up the U.K. The location i will be looking at  this month will be Scarborough.
In the course of the next few weeks i will be adding some information about this beautiful north coast location. If anyone has been to Scarborough then please leave a note for me.
Click on the link below for information about Scarborough .

Here's a picture of a great place to stay, wherever you go!  the great thing is you can come and go as you please, and its nice and private.  Posted by Barry Burnham.

The people look very relaxed peaceful enjoying their selves and the sky looked lovely and blue and not
a cloud in the sky.

  2. hi
About five years i ran a trip to Scarborough with some friends from my social club. Everyone thought that the resort was very accessible and was a worth while trip. We went by coach and it took about 4 hours.

  3. hi,
It sounds like a long day out to me but it's one to think about.
I normally walk my dog Holly along the seafront at Hunstanton and also find it very accessible for a day trip.

  6. I like the sound of Scarborough I would like stay there with my family and I would to stay in a carer van I find it very homely and very private that what I like about it and you can come and go as you please. It is very relaxing and you can do your own thing and there is no one to tell you what to do. You can be your own person there!

  8. I have never been to Scarborough,it looks very nice there on the beach.I recall as a child going upon family holidays to Devon and Cornwall.Which were also nice destinations for beaches and places of interest aswell as local produce, like cream teas and such like.

  10. the old town of Machuncllif is fasanating, said to be the old capital of wales it has a great museum and some great shops. just a few miles up the road is Cories where you can visit King Arthurs labyrinth which is a mile underground and is reached by way of a barge trip.
