Hi my name Barry Flint i am a customer at Patrick road of which i hve been costomer for three years now,it has been very interesting for me to meet people with many differant disabilitys as i can see how lucky i am compaired to others. I myself broke my back a while ago, and have now got parkinsons and a few other problems which has led to me now being in a wheelchair, Haveing been able bodied all my life I have found it very difficult to adapt to this way of life, comeing to the Centre has helped me try to come to terms with this, I have made some very good freinds both customers and staff, When I was able bodied I enjoyed doing many sports, Football, the gym,and my favorite sport was road running of which i took part in about forty races all over the place. I ran the london marathon seven tmes becomeing one of the elite runners of our club whom i ran for in Wellingborough, I do miss this sport very much,I have become a couch sportsman now and do watch a lot of it, but do not go to football as much i used to, This was just a little insight in my life before my disability, I hope a lot more people will join in and give people a insight into there lives of being disabled, or there lives before. Barry
